Massachusetts Republican primary voters are mixed on President Donald Trump’s job performance ahead of the midterm elections, a new Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll finds. They’re otherwise split on whether they would vote for him again if given the chance.

The poll, which surveyed 465 Republicans and independents who are likely to vote in the Sept. 1 GOP primary, also found widespread disapproval of Democratic Governor Maura Healey. Former medical device company executive Michael Minogue leads the race for the GOP gubernatorial nomination, the poll found, though 40 percent of those surveyed said they remain undecided.
