Frankel is the only player to be named a position award finalist in all three seasons of the league. The Fleet netminder set a PWHL record with eight shutouts this season, smashing the previous mark by four.
The Northeastern product was the first to record three straight shutouts, included in a streak of 226:09 without allowing a goal. She allowed a goal or fewer in 18 of 26 starts and tied for the league lead with 19 wins — good for another PWHL record. The 26-year-old posted a 1.17 goals-against average and .953 save percentage.
