Game 70: Blue Jays at Red Sox lineups and notes

The Red Sox return to action after having Monday off when they open a three-game series with the Blue Jays Tuesday at Fenway Park.

Although they lost 6-4 to the Rangers on Sunday night, they are coming off their second series win at Fenway after taking the first two games on Friday and Saturday.

The Blue Jays were also off on Monday and are coming off a series loss at home to the Yankees. The teams split the first two games and were tied, 3-3, entering the ninth inning of the rubber match before the Yankees erupted for five runs to take the finale, 8-3.

Lefthander Payton Tolle will be on the mound for the Sox, while the Blue Jays have yet to name a starter.
