World Cup fever hits Mass. with community watch parties. Here’s a list of 90-plus.

The World Cup is fast approaching, and if you’re opting not to break the bank on tickets — matches kicks off locally with Scotland vs. Haiti June 13 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough — there are plenty of watch parties (more than 90!) being held across Massachusetts.

From Burlington to Boston to Barnstable, from Lexington to Lowell, many watch parties will pay homage to the cultures represented in the tournament, while others entice fans with local food, live music, and soccer games.

As of Wednesday, all but one of 17 state grant-funded organizations have received their FIFA viewing licenses, granting them permission to show the World Cup games in public, after monthslong delays. Revolutionary Valley’s Lowell celebration is working with FIFA to answer remaining questions and secure its license, according to Governor Maura Healey’s office.

Several organizations that weren’t state grant recipients have also obtained licenses, but not all have announced their plans.
