Game 41: Phillies at Red Sox lineups and notes
After a day off, the Red Sox will be back in action Tuesday night when they open a three-game series with the Phillies at Fenway Park.
The Sox will look to bounce back after dropping a 4-1 decision to the Rays on Sunday. It marked the 10th time this season they failed to score more than one run.
They haven’t named an opener for Tuesday, but Brayan Bello will follow up. It was a formula that worked well in last week’s 10-3 win at Detroit when he entered the game in the second inning and allowed just one run on four hits over seven innings.
The Phillies were also off on Monday after winning two in a row against the Rockies to take the series in Philadelphia. They will send Zack Wheeler to the mound for his fourth start of the season.
