After a day off, the Red Sox return to Fenway Park for a six-game homestand, beginning Friday night when they open a three-game series with the Twins.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sox are coming off a 4-2 road trip at Atlanta and Kansas City. They are on a three-game winning streak after completing a sweep of the Royals with Wednesday\u2019s 4-3 win.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Twins have won three of their last four, including taking two of three from the Astros. They rank fifth in MLB with 21 quality starts of six or more innings and three or fewer earned runs. They\u2019re seventh in starter ERA at 3.67.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It will be a battle of lefthanders for Friday\u2019s opener. The Red sox will go with Payton Tolle, while Minnesota will counter with Connor Prielipp.<\/span><\/p>\n
