President Trump told reporters Thursdaythat whilehe is \u201cgoing to try\u201d to attend the wedding of his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., this weekend, it is \u201cnot good timing for me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

According to newsreports, Donald Jr. is expected to marry Bettina Anderson over Memorial Day Weekend on a private island in the Bahamas. While taking questions in the Oval Office Thursday,Trump was asked if he plans to attend the ceremony, which the presidentdescribed as a \u201csmall, little private affair.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019d like me to go … I\u2019m going to try and make it,\u201d Trump relayed. \u201cI said, you know this is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran and other things.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Trump also grumbled that his son\u2019s nuptials isan issue he \u201ccan\u2019t win on\u201d with the media. \u201cIf I do attend, I get killed. If I don\u2019t attend, I get killed, by the fake news, of course.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n
