He appeared in 58 games, including two in the playoffs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>With Boston\u2019s bottom-six full of established NHLers \u2014 and serving as a possible entry point for young skaters \u2014 the 29-year-old could be flipped.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4>Mason Lohrei<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span><b>Contract:<\/b> $3.2 million through 2026-27<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Whereas Eyssimont and Jokiharju might yield minimal returns, the 25-year-old defenseman could hold value to a team enticed by his size and playmaking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Lohrei\u2019s standing with Sturm might be unsteady, especially after being a healthy scratch in the final three playoff games. After averaging 19:32 on ice in 2024-25, he dropped to 16:54 this season. \u200b<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>If Boston believes Lohrei doesn\u2019t have more room to grow he could be a potential trade chip.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4>Casey Mittelstadt<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span><b>Contract:<\/b> $5.75 million through 2026-27<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The forward deserves credit for steadying what once appeared to be a rudderless tenure in Boston, developing into a steady, two-way winger while skating on one of the NHL\u2019s more forward lines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>But with Arvidsson\u2019s future in flux and Mittelstadt entering the final year of his deal, questions remain over how sustainable that line\u2019s production might be \u2014 and whether the 27-year-old Mittelstadt figures into the Bruins\u2019 long-term plans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/bostonrelocationinsider.com\/?p=572\">Denny Hamlin beats teammate Chase Briscoe at Dover for second NASCAR All-Star Race win<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>Mittelstadt could be flipped for draft capital, or as part of a package for a player with higher upside \u2014 especially if moving his contract allows Boston to absorb another contract or two.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4>Pavel Zacha<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span><b>Contract:<\/b> $4.75 million through 2026-27<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Ideally, the Bruins would retain the forward for the foreseeable future. The versatile 29-year-old is coming off a career year with 30 goals and 65 points in 78 games.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>If Boston wants to re-up Zacha on a long-term deal this summer, it\u2019s easy to envision him as a middle-six stalwart for the long haul. But it won\u2019t come cheap \u2014 especially as 34-year-old Charlie Coyle just signed a six-year extension with Columbus worth $6 million per year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u200bIt wouldn\u2019t come as a surprise if the Czech native banks at least $8 million per season on a new deal \u2014 especially if he goes to market next summer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Bruins really like what Zacha brings, but if they\u2019re hesitant about handing over such a sizable pay raise, have concerns over his ceiling, or think they can upgrade their roster, he could be part of a bold offseason swap.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4>Elias Lindholm<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span><b>Contract:<\/b> $7.75 million through 2030-31<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Boston\u2019s top contractual headache revolves around Lindholm, who has not lived up to his billing as a top-six center.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u200bDespite making inroads on Boston\u2019s resurgent power play this season, Lindholm only generated 21 points at five-on-five and was plagued by a back injury for the second year in a row.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u200bA 31-year-old with an ailing back doesn\u2019t have a promising long-term prognosis, with Lindholm likely looking at a third-line role next season as Boston carves out more reps for youngsters Fraser Minten and James Hagens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Getting Lindholm\u2019s contract off the books would alleviate several issues.
