Morning Report<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>A weekday newsletter delivering the N.H. news you need to know right to your inbox.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><label>Enter Email<\/label><\/p>\n<div><button>Sign Up<\/button><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span>Trump\u2019s approval rating in New Hampshire slipped in June to the lowest level it has been in nearly nine years, according to the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While the president remains popular among Republicans, his unpopularity among Democrats and independents could complicate the general election for those he endorses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>When asked in June whether he is \u201cthe MAGA candidate\u201d in this race, DiLorenzo didn\u2019t answer with an emphatic \u201cyes.\u201d Instead, he said he supports \u201ca large percentage\u201d of the president\u2019s policy agenda, including lower taxes, unleashing domestic energy, and achieving \u201cpeace through strength.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIf you call that MAGA, sure,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019ll stand up to anybody, including the president,\u201d he added, \u201cif I think that what he\u2019s representing is not in the best interest of the people of New Hampshire.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/bostonrelocationinsider.com\/?p=4889\">With threats rising, Supreme Court asks Congress to increase security funds<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley said Trump has delivered higher costs for Granite Staters, and DiLorenzo \u201cis ready to double down on the same failed agenda.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cBirds of a feather flock together,\u201d Buckley said. \u201cDonald Trump is so desperate for anyone willing to fall in line that he is once again scraping the bottom of the barrel, adding Anthony DiLorenzo to his lineup of candidates auditioning to be his next rubber stamp in Congress.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>DiLorenzo \u2014 who has largely been self-funding his campaign \u2014 is one of six GOP candidates in the race. He\u2019s up against Hollie Noveletsky, Melissa Bailey, Brian Cole, Lindsey Anderson, and Michael Anthony Callis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Recent polling suggests Noveletsky may be DiLorenzo\u2019s biggest competition, though most likely GOP primary voters remain undecided. In late June, the Saint Anselm College Survey Center found that 16 percent preferred Noveletsky, while 13 percent preferred DiLorenzo, a combined 10 percent preferred two other candidates, and another 61 percent remained unsure. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The winner of the GOP primary in September will face off with the winner of the Democratic primary, where there are currently nine candidates: Stefany Shaheen, Maura Sullivan, Christian Urrutia, Heath Howard, Carleigh Beriont, Sarah Chadzynski, Bill Conlin, Matthew Emerson, and Sarah Bella Spinosa. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Saint Anselm survey showed Shaheen leading with support from 22 percent of likely Democratic primary voters, followed by Sullivan at 15 percent, Howard at 9 percent, and three others at a combined 7 percent, while 47 percent of voters remained unsure. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Shaheen said Trump endorsed DiLorenzo to be \u201ca rubber stamp\u201d in Congress for cutting health care and giving immigration agents free rein.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019ve got to stop Trump\u2019s corruption, and start helping Granite State families who are getting crushed by the cost of health care, housing, and everything else,\u201d she said. \u201dTrump and DiLorenzo are in for a surprise.
