The 31-year-oldwon\u2019t be available to Boston until the NWSL\u2019s summer international transfer window opens July 14.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI think it\u2019s really exciting to be a part of something that\u2019s new,\u201d Davis said in a release. \u201cMy intention was to be here and be at the beginning of something, and help the team make a name in the NWSL. Also, for me, I\u2019m discovering the NWSL. I\u2019ve never played in the NWSL. I\u2019m also pretty close to home, so it\u2019s my chance to have my family come to games.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span>Related<span>: <\/span><\/span>Boston Legacy 2026 schedule<\/div>\n<p><span>A native of Montclair, N.J., Davis played at La Salle University before beginning her professional career with French club Le Havre in 2017. In seven years with the club based out of Normandy, she helped Le Havre earn two promotions, climbing to the top division in France. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThat experience and that builder\u2019s mentality are exactly what we need at the core,\u201d Legacy general manager Dom\u00e8 Guasch said in a release. \u201cSomeone who knows how to lay a foundation, brings real defensive stability, and makes everyone around her better.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/bostonrelocationinsider.com\/?p=4025\">The birthright decision was surprisingly close, some legal scholars say<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>Davis signed a two-year deal with Paris FC in May 2024 and debuted that September in Champions League competition. She was part of the squad that in 2025 won the Coupe de France.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Now, Davis will team with Reale, the reigning NWSL Rookie of the Year who joined Boston on a four-year deal that runs through December 2029.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Reale, a Hingham High and South Shore Select product, made 39 appearances for Gotham, including every league game for the club in her debut season.
