{"id":3490,"date":"2026-06-24T17:36:25","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T17:36:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bostonrelocationinsider.com\/?p=3490"},"modified":"2026-06-24T17:36:25","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T17:36:25","slug":"hops-in-the-hub-bostons-traveling-beer-garden-is-back-this-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bostonrelocationinsider.com\/?p=3490","title":{"rendered":"Hops in the Hub: Boston\u2019s traveling beer garden is back this summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<div>\n<p><span>Boston\u2019s traveling beer garden is back for a third straight summer, Mayor Michelle Wu\u2019s office said Wednesday. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/bostonrelocationinsider.com\/?p=3488\">Federal judge in Boston bars Trump from implementing proof of citizenship requirement to vote<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>Roundhead Brewing\u2019s Beer Gardens series launched this month at Copley Square Park and will continue popping up at locales across the city into September, Wu\u2019s office said in a statement. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to bring Roundhead Brewing\u2019s Beer Gardens back for a third season, adding to a summer of vibrant activity across Boston\u2019s parks,\u201d Wu said. \u201cFrom festivals and performances to neighborhood gatherings, this series is another way we\u2019re activating public spaces, supporting local businesses, and creating welcoming places for residents and visitors to enjoy all season long.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span>The series runs from June 9 to June 28 in Copley Square Park, July 3 to July 19 at Menino Park Charlestown; July 24 to Aug. 2 at LoPresti Park in East Boston; Aug. 7 to Aug. 23 at Jamaica Pond Pine Bank in Jamaica Plain; and Aug. 28. to Sept. 13 at Adams Park in Roslindale, the statement said. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to partner with Roundhead Brewing for a third summer of bringing people together in Boston\u2019s parks,\u201d said Diana Fernandez Bibeau, commissioner of the city\u2019s parks and recreation department. \u201cPartnerships like this one help activate our parks while supporting local businesses and creating vibrant spaces to connect and enjoy the outdoors.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>City officials said Roundhead, based in Hyde Park, was founded in 2017 and boasts the designation of being the first Latino-owned brewery in Massachusetts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/bostonrelocationinsider.com\/?p=3486\">New York sweep by Israel critics shines light on a fraught issue for Democrats<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019re happy for this opportunity to work with the city and show what we are doing here at Roundhead,\u201d said the brewery\u2019s founder, Luis Espinoza. \u201cWe are proud to bring people together in our city to celebrate community and spend time together. That\u2019s our mission \u2014 cerveza que reune!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>That last line translates as beer that brings people together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>At each location, the beer garden will be open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays, and noon to 9 p.m. on Sundays, officials said. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Copley Square Park\u2019s beer garden is also open from noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays to align with the local farmers\u2019 market, officials said. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Roundhead doesn\u2019t have a lock on all the beer gardens in Greater Boston, where more than 30 such spots are opening this spring and summer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Globe recently ran a story on the 11 best beer gardens to check out in the region. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/bostonrelocationinsider.com\/?p=3484\">Their base pay? $200 per term.
