His policies have made your costs go up \u2014 and he doesn\u2019t care.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>But some Republicans who supported the housing bill were supportive of the president\u2019s decision to suddenly change course. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Indiana Republican Senator Jim Banks defended Trump, saying the president has been \u201ctransparent\u201d that he wouldn\u2019t sign anything until the SAVE Act passed. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI like the housing bill, I voted for it,\u201d Banks said. \u201cBut I stand with President Trump.
