Monday\u2019s night\u2019s 3-2 loss in Denver was … special. The Sox took a 2-0 lead into the ninth, only to see closer Aroldis Chapman blow it in just eight pitches, allowing four consecutive hits as the Rockies rallied for the win.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was his first blown save since July 23, 2025, when the Red Sox were still able to come away with a 9-8 win at Philadelphia in 11 innings. Since then, Chapman had converted 29 consecutive save opportunities. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
