Best finishes<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span>It was a whirlwind of walkoffs on the baseball and softball diamonds, and toss in a few overtime results and last-second winners from the lacrosse pitch and you have a day chock-full of thrilling finishes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In baseball action: BB&amp;N\u2019s <b>Michael Noonan<\/b> walked off Groton, 8-7 in the ISL Tournament; Marblehead\u2019s<b> Ryan Angilly<\/b> delivered an RBI single to walk off Beverly, 2-1; Westwood\u2019s McGowan launched his second homer of the game in the bottom of the eighth to beat Norwood, 4-3; Wilmington\u2019s <b>Noah Titterington<\/b> drew a bases-loaded walk in the seventh to beat Watertown, 7-6; Masconomet\u2019s <b>Benjamin Linehan<\/b> waited until the 11th inning to deliver his two-out RBI single and defeat Danvers, 3-2. <\/span><\/p>\n<div><span>Related<span>: <\/span><\/span>Varsity News: What you need to know about the Super 8 returning<\/div>\n<p><span>For softball: Silver Lake\u2019s <b>Anna Craft<\/b> notched a walkoff single to defeat Duxbury, 12-11; Georgetown walked off Manchester Essex, 8-7; Haverhill\u2019s <b>Gabryella Kirby<\/b> broke a deadlock in the ninth inning with an RBi single to lift the Hillies past Dracut, 3-2; Central Catholic\u2019s <b>Stella Clements<\/b> tied its game with Billerica with a homer in the sixth, then <b>Emily Goc<\/b> slapped a walkoff single for a 3-2 victory; Pembroke\u2019s <b>Kathryn McPhee<\/b> lofted a sac fly and <b>Lilliana Manon<\/b> raced home for the winning run in a 3-2 triumph over Hanover. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>With two seconds left in regulation, <b>Ava Santo<\/b> potted the winning goal for Arlington Catholic in a 12-11 girls\u2019 lacrosse victory over Bishop Stang. <b>Gavin Rodrigues<\/b> had the overtime winner for Somerset Berkley boys\u2019 lacrosse in a 9-8 win against Seekonk, and Rockland\u2019s <b>Brayden Rau<\/b> completed his hat trick with an overtime dagger to defeat East Bridgewater, 9-8. <\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h2>5. Desmond, a teacher at C-C who played at UMass Lowell, she has 15 years experience coaching field hockey, including as varsity coach at Groton-Dunstable. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI am truly
