She had to find sophomore goalie Mamie Kosicki, whose 13 saves kept the Patriots afloat against Notre Dame (Hingham) in the Division 1 girls\u2019 lacrosse championship. Fortier also had to find injured teammate Scarlett Mirak, whose firepower and guidance helped make this moment possible. Lastly, she had to find her classmates and parents to cherish the celebration with them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Fortier will forever be the hero, as her goal with 1 minute, 28 seconds left in overtime lifted No. 3 Concord-Carlisle to a 10-9 Division 1 state championship triumph Wednesday night, the Patriots\u2019 second in a row.
