In the fifth inning of her final home game at Attleboro High, the senior sent a two-strike fastball over the left-field fence for a three-run homer, doubling the margin as the third-seeded Blue Bombardiers barreled to a 10-0 Division 1 quarterfinal win over No. 6 Bridgwater-Raynham on Saturday afternoon.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m feeling so over the moon,\u201d said Borges. \u201cI didn\u2019t even know I hit the home run, I thought it was going to hit the fence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In its first semifinal appearance, Attleboro (17-6) will play No. 2 Central Catholic (22-0). B-R finishes 14-8.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s such a cool experience, to know that this has never been done before, and to know that I was a part of it,\u201d senior ace Jenna Callahan said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Callahan was more than just a part of it. She tossed a shutout, striking out six and stranding 10.<\/span><\/p>\n
