With 10 seconds left in the third quarter, senior Enzo Serio connected with classmate Murphy Belvin in front of the net to take a 7-6 lead. With 4 minutes, 56 seconds left in the game, junior Tommy Ryan zipped a pass right into Belvin\u2019s mesh for a point-blank tally, and that insurance was needed in an 8-7 quarterfinal victory for the visiting No. 6 Eagles (16-5) over No. 3 Andover (11-6) at Lovely Field.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone kept telling me they were going to fall,\u201d said Belvin, who was making his return from a hamstring injury. \u201cEventually, they did. I just kept shooting. My guys had me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Golden Warriors launched two goals in the first 17 seconds, but just over a minute into the game, sophomore Nathan Rogers responded. He added another early in the second quarter. Senior Charlie Clair netted a pair, and junior Cal LaPointe secured the clinching ground ball and passed it ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n
