(Bloomberg) — President Donald Trump said the US won\u2019t \u201crush\u201d into a deal with Iran, saying both sides must take their time to \u201cget it right.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOur relationship with Iran is becoming a much more professional and productive one,\u201d he wrote Sunday in a social media post. \u201cThey must understand, however, that they cannot develop or procure a Nuclear Weapon or Bomb.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The president added that the US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz would remain in place until an agreement is completed.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said there may be \u201csome good news\u201d regarding the blocked Strait of Hormuz in the coming hours, as Iran and Washington press ahead with peace negotiations.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Iranian media and officials have been more circumspect. Washington and Tehran are still at odds over \u201cone or two provisions,\u201d the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported, citing an \u201cinformed source.\u201d The Fars agency, meanwhile, dismissed Trump\u2019s claims as \u201cfar from reality,\u201d without citing anyone.<\/span><\/p>\n
