Stefan Alexandrov, Cambridge — The senior got it done both ways in Wednesday’s rout of Melrose, fanning six with only two earned runs allowed in six innings and smacking two hits in four at-bats, including a home run.
Cole Arruda, Seekonk — A senior lefthander, Arruda shut out Dighton-Rehoboth, 7-0, on just one hit while striking out 13.
Aiden Brown, Westford — The freshman’s six innings of two-hit ball and solo homer guided the Ghosts to a nonleague triumph over Dracut on Monday.
Will Davidson, Hanover — A 15-strikeout outing for the junior lefthander steered the Hawks past Scituate, 8-1, on Tuesday, which kept Hanover atop the Patriot League Fisher standings.
Jackson Duguay, Medway — In a 17-4 smacking of Medfield, the senior socked a homer, had three RBIs, and scored twice as the Mustangs clinched the Tri-Valley League Small title. Two days prior, he was 3 for 4 with six RBIs to decisively power Medway past Millis.
Devante Layne, Malden — The sophomore went 3 for 3 with a homer, swiped four bags, scored four runs, and collected four RBIs to send the Tornadoes past East Boston in the consolation game of the East Boston Strike Out Colon Cancer tournament on Sunday.
Teddy Shuman, Canton — Shuman’s three-run, inside-the-park home run in the seventh propelled the Bulldogs to a walkoff defeat of Stoughton on Monday, and he went 3 for 4 with two RBIs in Wednesday’s 4-1 victory over Mansfield.
