After Tuesday’s game was rained out, the Red Sox are scheduled to play a play a split-admission doubleheader on Wednesday. Tickets for Tuesday’s game will be good for admission to the 1:35 p.m. contest. Wednesday’s regularly scheduled game remains at 7:10 p.m.

Lefthander Jake Bennett will take the mound for the opener as the Sox look to tie the franchise record for consecutive wins at 15. The Orioles will counter with righthander Dean Kremer.

The Sox have not announced a starter for Game 2. Activating Ranger Suarez is one possibility. Otherwise, they could go with a bullpen game, with Eduardo Rivera serving as the opener.

“We’ve just got to wait and see how [Suarez] feels [Wednesday],” said interim manager Chad Tracy.

The Orioles plan to start righthander Kyle Bradish in the night game.
