Turner, who has 55 caps with the US men’s national team, including one at this World Cup in a loss against Turkey, returned to the Revolution last summer after a change in executive structure at Lyon put his future with the club in flux. His initial loan from Lyon expired on June 30.
So far this season, Turner has allowed 18 goals in 14 starts with three clean sheets for the Revolution while helping them to an impressive 8-1-5 start to the season.
Turner, age 32, rose to prominence with the Revolution from 2018-22 before spending time with Arsenal, Nottingham, and Crystal Palace prior to his return. He has started 24 games for the Revolution since his return to New England.
