Revolution begin summer transfer window work, add American forward Wilson Harris to attack
The Revolution’s efforts to supplement their scoring continued Wednesday, the team announcing it has signed former MLS and US youth forward Wilson Harris for the remainder of the season.

The 26-year-old, whose deal includes club options through the 2027 and 2027-28 MLS seasons, spent the last two years playing in Israel. Harris had 10 goals and an assist in 35 matches there, playing a year each for Maccabi Petah Tikva and Maccabi Netanya.
“Wilson has shown the ability to produce consistently and continues to refine his game each year,” Chris Tierney, promoted to Revolution GM and chief soccer officer this week, said in a release. “We believe he will adapt quickly to our club and add a new dimension to our attack.”
The Los Angeles native was a member of both Seattle and Kansas City’s youth academies, making 10 appearances for Sporting Kansas City in 2021 before spending three years with Louisville City of the USL Championship. (His 46 goals over 107 appearances ranked second in club history when he departed for Israel in 2025.)
Despite an 8-5-1 record that has the Revolution fourth in the Eastern Conference, their 1.6 goals per game ranks 15th in the 30-team league. (Excluding their combined nine goals in blowout home wins over Cincinnati and Montreal to begin the year, New England has scored 13 times in 12 matches.)

Leo Campana, expected to drive the attack when acquired in December 2024 from Inter Miami, has played just 19 minutes since the season opener, sidelined by a lower-body injury that kept him from representing Ecuador in the World Cup. Dor Turgeman has been the striker in his absence, but has just two goals (albeit with six assists) in 14 matches after having scored in all three of his Revolution appearances last season.
The MLS summer transfer window officially opens July 13, three days before games resume. The Revolution’s first post-World Cup match is a home visit from Toronto FC on July 22.
“We’ve entered this transfer window with a plan and identified positions where we’d like to strengthen the team,” Tierney said Tuesday. “It’s certainly our goal to add some impact players that we feel like will help us in the short term.”
