Tom Brady, Cynthia Erivo to headline conference in Boston
Tom Brady is coming back to Boston later this year.
The former Patriots quarterback will serve as one of the headlining speakers at the upcoming Unbound conference, set for Sept. 16-18 at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in the Seaport.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion is just one of several big names slated to appear at the event, which will also feature “Wicked” star and Emmy-, Grammy-, Tony-winning actress Cynthia Erivo on the main stage. Other headliners announced so far include author and podcast host Mel Robbins, Needham-raised NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, and a live presentation of the business and technology show TBPN.
Created by Cambridge software company HubSpot, Unbound was previously called Inbound prior to the long-running event’s rebrand in April. The annual, star-studded conference is aimed at marketers and business leaders.
According to a blog post, Hubspot decided to change the name after 15 years as a way to showcase “how modern growth leaders actually think across teams, channels, and the entire customer journey,” highlighting the shift towards embracing artificial intelligence.

Under the Inbound moniker, the conference has featured a ton of A-list headliners and speakers over the years, with previous notable guests including Oprah Winfrey, Ryan Reynolds, Reese Witherspoon, plus Bay State stars like Amy Poehler and John Cena. Former president Barack Obama spoke at the 2022 edition of the event in Boston, while former first lady Michelle Obama made an appearance in the Hub for the 2017 conference.
Other speakers slated for Unbound include New York Liberty chief brand officer Shana Stephenson, GURU Media Hub founder and CEO Jay Schwedelson, as well as leaders in the AI space and HubSpot executives.
