Celtics ink center Amari Williams to two-way contract
The Celtics signed 7-foot center Amari Williams to a two-way contract Thursday.
Williams, the first British-born player in Celtics history, originally signed a two-way contract with Boston Aug. 15, 2025, and a standard NBA contract Feb. 5.

He appeared in 22 games (including two starts) last season, averaging 1.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per game.
With the Maine Celtics in the G League, Williams averaged 15.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.8 blocks and recorded a double-double in 11 of 28 contests.

The Celtics selected Williams in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft.
