Game 61: Red Sox look to take series against Orioles in a Thursday matinee

The Red Sox will close out their series with the Orioles in a matinee Thursday. First pitch is 1:35 p.m. If you’re heading to the game, don’t forget your sunscreen and stay hydrated. The forecast is calling for highs near 90.
After rolling to an 8-1 win in which they pounded out 15 hits and got six shutout innings from Payton Tolle Wednesday night, the Sox will be going for a series win at home for just the second time this season. They are 1-7-1 in series play at Fenway Park.
Brayan Bello will be on the mound for the Sox, starting from the opening pitch. Four of the righthander’s last five appearances came in relief following an opener. In seven starts, he is 1-5 with a 9.68 ERA, but in four games as a long reliever, he has allowed just two earned runs in 25⅓ innings, good for a 0.71 ERA.
The Orioles will counter with lefthander Trevor Rogers, who is 0-6 with an 8.83 ERA in eight starts since recording his last victory on April 1.
