The date for the 2026 Fenway Bowl is set for Dec. 26
Football at Fenway Park returns this winter.
The 2026 Wasabi Fenway Bowl, which will take place on Dec. 26, will mark the fifth college football bowl game to be played at Fenway Park.

A team from the American Conference and another from the Atlantic Coast Conference will be the participants. The team from each conference will be determined by regular season win-loss record, geographic proximity, and previous appearances.
“We’re proud to celebrate the fifth Wasabi Fenway Bowl this December and reflect on how much this event has grown since its inaugural game,” said Brett Miller, senior director of special events and executive director of the Wasabi Fenway Bowl, in a statement. “Over the last five years, we’ve welcomed outstanding student-athletes, passionate fan bases, and unforgettable moments to Fenway Park, helping establish the Wasabi Fenway Bowl as a unique postseason destination and a cherished holiday tradition in New England.

“As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue building on that momentum, creating new experiences for fans, strengthening our impact in the community, and showcasing the magic of college football at America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.”
In last year’s matchup, Army torched UConn, 41-16. Boston College played in the 2023 iteration of the game, defeating No. 17 SMU, 23-14.
